「世界的八月半」為台北市政府客家事務委員會所舉辦之中秋節音樂晚會,歌手們以歌聲詮釋不同文化中「八月半」的鄉愁與情懷。除了有客家音樂人的民謠創作,亦有東南亞姊妹帶來的音樂饗宴。
"A Shared Culture - Mid-Autumn Festival" is a concert held by the Taipei Hakka Affairs Commission. Singers interpreted their nostalgia and feelings through folk music. You can see Hakka and Southeast Asia Culture mingle together in this concert.
中秋時節是感恩豐收的時刻,同時也是團員相聚的日子,適逢農曆八月十五,因此客家人稱作「八月半」。親友一同賞明月、食月餅,體現中秋的人情風景,結合台灣多元文化的特色,藉由繚繞的歌聲牽繫彼此。聆聽熱情的客家山歌,以及觀賞來自南洋朋友的表演,體驗多元文化的中秋風采。
Mid-Autumn Festival is a Thanksgiving holiday originating from Shang Dynasty. People celebrate harvests in 8/15 of the lunar calendar. Families gather together to enjoy full moon, eating moon cakes and singing folk songs on this special occasion. As the time goes by, countries in Asia have developed various ways to spend this public holiday. In Hakka, Mid-Autumn Festival is also called "Half August (八月半)". In order to experience Mid-Autumn Festival in Hakka and Southeast Asia way, Taipei Hakka Commission Affair invites balladeers to perform folk songs for celebration.
剪紙是東方古老的裝飾藝術,被廣泛應用於民間活動與節慶中,用於裝點各處,象徵祈福與吉祥之意。為呼應主題「世界的八月半」,融合東南亞各國共同慶祝中秋節,因文化風俗不同,發展出各具特色的過節方式。
此概念以不同服飾象徵各個民族,加上每個人物所搭配的物件或動作,如:提燈籠、吃月餅、唱山歌等,以東方工藝表現手法勾勒出具有各國特色的中秋代表圖示。
Paper-cutting is a traditional decorative art in Asian culture, which has been widely used in early folk events or festivals.
In order to express the concept of the Mid-Autumn Festival - the mutual holiday shared by Sinosphere - we use paper-cutting like images to expression the uniqueness in every culture.
