Overview

此作品為響應WACOM所舉辦之線上活動「石虎畫撥專線」所繪製的插畫，希望藉由社群的力量喚起大家對石虎的動保意識。此概念源自於拜拜時供桌下擺放的虎爺，虎爺最早是山神、土地公等神祇的座騎，並有守護的含義。因此我將石虎轉化成「山的守護神－石虎爺」的概念，希望藉由大家對神明的敬畏之心，轉化為守護石虎的力量。

This illustration was drawn for attending an online campaign called 'Wacom Leopard Cat'. By the power of social media, the organizer hoped to provoke awareness of animal protection.

The concept originated from Hu Yeh, the Lord Tiger, which is often placed under the table for worship. Hu Yeh was initially working as a mount for the God of mountains and the God of earth. And it gradually became a symbol of a guardian. Thus, I transformed the leopard cat into the guardian of mountains, combining it with styles of temple painting and traditional arts. Expecting people to be more protective of wild animals through the awe of the Gods.
